I like this shot too... It's nothing we haven't seen before but I love the composition and the light. Shooting into the sun can sometimes work brilliantly. Oh and great specs!!! It was shot by a photographer called Nadia Moro.
Welcome to my blog! How absolutely spiffing of you to drop by! I am just potty about just about anything vintage particularly everything relating to the 1940's and 1950's, and I mean EVERYTHING! Yes, you could say it's an obsession... a very healthy obsession of course! Anyway, through this blog, I plan to share with you all my knowledge, secrets, hints and tips, treasured finds, and well... just about anything to do with everything vintage, and of course some things not so vintage. If there's something I don't know then I will invite someone else to enlighten us. So please keep coming back to visit me and from time to time leave a post with any comments, suggestions or questions you may have. Ta ta for now!
I am a vintage obsessed designer of swimwear/resort wear inspired by the 1940's and 1950's. After years of not being able to find swimwear that suited my figure and made me feel confident, I decided to take the plunge and design my own.
I love everything vintage and kitsch, and when I'm not working on my business or doing my other day job as a make up artist, I am scouring boot fairs, reading books, dancing, and watching films. I can't cook, I hate washing up, and will only clean if I can do it wearing my best ball gown! I am a little bit OCD and love everything to be tidy and in good order. Chaos gives me nightmares... I worry about everything from landfill to loneliness, and am easily moved to tears...Very easily! Every day I remind myself to be grateful for all the wonderful things in my life and try to see every experience, good or bad, as an opportunity to grow and learn. I believe everything happens for a reason.
I live in London and spend a lot of time by the seaside near Whitstable in Kent, where I feel calm and inspired. I am most at home by the sea, I grew up there, and plan to never be far from the shore.
